The title says it all"

What has happend to the simple and useful "Send to Power Point" command that
was in Word '03?

Thanks.

Fred,
You have to add it to the qat, Office Button - Word Options - Customize -
All Commands - Send to Microsoft Office PowerPoint - Add OK.

It's here.

Office Button | Publish | Create Handouts in Microsoft Office Word.

Although it says handout, it can also send outlines to Word.

Oops -- sorry for that answer!

In addition to Luc's suggestion, you can also import Word files into
PowerPoint. Select the Home tab of the Ribbon, press the down arrow under
the New Slide option, and choose Slides from Outline.
