hi folks! good day to you all.
when i open a webpage like google, type my search string, and say "google
search" it goes and fetches me the results.
ok. so far so good.
but next time i search, as soon as i start typing the string of my new
search, the autocomplete property comes in the way by showing all previous
searches beginning with that letter.
why should i display all those? of course i understand it is for my own good
and help.
ok! i can turn off autocomplete ( too drastic) or i can clear autocomplete
history ( i am given the option to clear forms and preserve my passwords.)
but that will remove all search entries.
how can i selectively remove only some searches?
where in the whole windows does ie store this info?
tia.

When the list opens and you see all your autocomplete entries, simply hold
the cursor over the entry you want to delete and hit the delete key. Don't
choose the entry, just hold your cursor over it so its highlighted and hit
the delete key.
