Where is the research community? Specifically about tagging.

I have noticed some things going on with tagging lately and wanted to
contribute my two cents. Not necessarily asking for a Microsoft employee to
explain things they've already been working on. I want to discuss theory
about tagging (such as found on amazon.com) with other interested customers.
I looked for a general research community for half an hour and just came
here after giving up.

I call my thoughts 'viral tagging'. It is not likely they are unique
thoughts so I want to find some others that are interested.

It would apply to lots of computer science topics. Users, website owners,
and advertisers using weighted, tagged, dynamic profiles to match products to
websites. I think there could be AI applications. I certainly think there
are applications with mob mentality, such as starting Microsofts own
weighted, tagged, catagorized wikidpeia.

I keep re-writing my ideas because I have no good outlet but the site I keep
them at is: http://www.redonkulicity.com/theory/vt.html
and the theory section in general.

Anyway, where should I go for discussion on user-weighted tagging?
