Where is the chkdsk log located??

Could somebody help me? I have been searching for the
location of the chkdsk log file in XP Home Edition and
haven't found anything. I've Googled for it, but the
sites I've been to all say it's in the Event
Viewer:System log. I have turned the event viewer logs
inside out and haven't found anything having to do with
chkdsk.
 
Check the application log in the event viewer. It should
be there, under "source" look for winlog. Hope this
helps, that is where I found my chkdsk log.
