Where is IE7 download file located?

I have downloaded IE7, but have decided not to install it because it
conflicts with my HP scanner and i never use IE anyway. I always browse with
Mozilla.
So where is the download located so i can remove it and get rid of the
systen tray reminder
 
Are you asking about the Windows Update shield in the System Tray (Notification Area)? If so, you can prevent being prompted by selecting Custom install, then uncheck IE7 from the list of updates, then click Next. You will get a popup with an option to suppress further prompting to install that update.

I blew it ! It hasn't been downloaded yet but is asking me to download it
because i have "notify but don't aotomatically install" option selected. I
fixed it now.
