Hello,

I've been trying to see why MS IE6 will run and then
shutdown with no messages and windows.

I'm trying to debug IE6 trying to see the modules
it loads with hope of finding failing plug-in or
module. I hope to remove the offending code so IE6
will come up again. IE6 will come up under other
userid's so it may be a plug-in for my userid that
keeps IE6 from functioning properly.

I was told c:\windows\applog would have a trail of
what IE6 was loading, etc.. This appears to work
for Windows 98 but I run Windows XP Pro.

What replaces the applog in Windows XP, where do I find
it, how do I use it, etc,,??

Thanks,

Steve Howard

Help with the IE is available from
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.browser.
Informations about application errors can be found in the Control
Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer.
