Where have my CD/DVD drive's gone?

please can someone help me out? my dvd and cd drive's no longer seem to be on
my computer! my cd drive runs but the icons are not in my computer or windows
explorer! can someone help me out please?!

Grin. When I used to grade my grad students homework/papers, I'd not be
bothered with the first several "bad grammar/English"
papers/assignments. By the third or forth, I'd often lose it and they'd
get an F. I'm not a perfectionist at all, especially since English is
NOT my native language, but I still remain at a loss at why American
Public Schools continue to graduate people who cant really write a
basic, good letter.

Because if they didn't there would be hardly anyone left to graduate, and
the schools would go out of business.
