where does ms word keeps user's settings and prefrences ?

hi all,
I 'd like to apply user settings and prefrences to a few computers in
the office.
I thought the best way to do this is to copy-paste the users settings
and prefrences from one computer to all other.
1st question: where does word keeps those prefrences and settings ?
2nd question: is there a better way to apply this "standartization" of
ms word to a few computers so that documents will act the same in
different comp's ?

1. Look in Tools - Options - File Locations tab
2. You will probably need to reset the Normal.dot template so they are all the same
