I have a Win2K Pro network and Win2K clients. We began updating clients to
WinXp and noticed that when they browse the network, the list of hosts comes
up with whatever was entered in the Description section when the host was
built with the name of the machine in parenthesis. This is east to fix in
WinXP, where you just right-clik on My Computer, select Properties, go to the
Computer Name tab and type in a new name. Wehre is this in Windows 2000?

Right-click My Computer, "Manage", right-click "Computer Management(local)",
