the space has most likely been eaten up by your Temp
folders, your trash can.
So, firstly, empty your trash can.
If you are using WinXP.
go to c:\Documents and Settings/<User profile>Local
Settings/temp

the folder is a hidden folder so you may not be able to
see it.
To be able to view all folders. Go to control panel,
select folder options
click on the View tap, under Hidden files and folders,
put a dot in the second option, Show Hidden files and
folders.

I hope that this helps.

Thanks for the help but it still didn't clear up my drive. I have a few more
megs but thats it. Any other tips?

Click Start-Control Panel-Folder Options. Set it to show hidden and
system files. Now look at the file sizes of thigns. First, you are
going to have about 12% of your drive being eaten up by System Restore.
Second, check under Docuements and Settings\YOUR NAME\... There are a
couple of temporary folders as well as your Temp Internet Files. Clear
those. Also, right click on the drive affected, click Disk Clean Up,
and see what it can do for you. Finally, you are going to have a large
chunk eaten up by a hibernation file (if enabled) and a pagefile
(depends on how you have that set up). Also, don't forget to emptry the
recycle bin ;)

If you are using Norton AV, purge the protected files by right clicking
trash bin, then go from there.
