Where did it go?

Using Vista Ultimate. Connected to my WM5 portable
device. I clicked on an mp3 file on the SD card to play.
Instead of playing directly the file was copied to the
computer and played from there. In XP it would have been
copied to "My Documents" in Vista it is copied to "f%
7CF%7C%%5CSD..." What folder is that (virtual I assume)
and how do I keep it from getting to large?

In Vista Fashion it is in the Local users (user name->
AppData->Local->temp) folder

That folder grew to massive amounts in the first week.

I deleted all the temp files, 1GB in one week!! Ouch
