where can I find the deleted network drive files ?

Dear all ,
I use Windows xp to map a network drive from window 2000
server . when i use client xp PC to delete some files , where can i
find the deleted files? Neither client xp nor windows 2000 server
recycle bin can find the deleted files. where can i find them and how
to restore them ??

You can't. If you use a workstation to delete files that are located on a
server share they are deleted immediately. They are not moved to the recycle
bin first.

It sounds like now would be a good time to fire up that backup software and
attempt a restore!
