Where can I download the fix mentioned in KB941423?

Our auditing software says it requires the Excel fix in KB941423 and it will
not install, asking for Excel 2007 (12.0.6300.5000) SP1.

Whereas, the Office 2007 Enterprise we have says Excel is at 12.0.6331.5000
SP1.

Can you make the patch available?

Scroll down to the More Information section, it says that if the fix is not
available for download then you can contact Support for it. However, it also
says only to apply the fix to computers that are experiencing the problem it
is designed to fix.

I've had "fixes" downloaded automatically to my system and it caused other
problems so I'd follow this advice.

As Sean indicated, if the hotfix is not available for download, we need to
contact the Customer Service and Support

We did not publish some hotfixs public because some problem symptoms are
very similar but the root causes vary from each other. Many customers
install the wrong hotfix which may cause other problems.

My suggestion is same as Barb and Sean,

1. Please try to contact the auditing software vendor to clarify if
KB941423 is the right hotfix. What problems they are trying to fix via
KB941423
2. Since they make the auditing software, they may already got the hotfix.
So we can ask if they have it. If not, we need to request the hotfix from
via the entry,
