where can I add an access download to my office standard xp?

I need the access program for a semester of school. Is there anyway I can
upgrade my MS office XP standard program?

Sure, start by getting credit card in hand and I believe MS will let you
download it right after the charge is approved.
 
There is no free viewer, and if there was, it still wouldn't help you
with your schoolwork.

If you just want to try Access, you could order the trial CD from
Microsoft (good for 30 days).

Otherwise you will need to buy an upgrade. The full Access
upgrade is worth US$109, but if you can get Access through
your school it will be much cheaper.

You don't need to get the Office XP version of Access. The
Office 2003 version will work correctly with your other Office
XP programs.
