Where are these file stored

The Old Timer

When I do a search it tells me that all the files I have found are to be
found under 'my computer'. Clicking on a file & selecting properties
doesn't give any more details. If you then go to explorer & click on 'my
computer' these files aren't displayed. Where would they really be filed?
I can open the files by clicking on them but prefer to have them sit in the
correct folder.

What file? What name is it?
 
It's many files. I just did a search on a particular extension in this case
..veg which is created by Vegas Video programs & found many files listed as
being under 'My Computer'.
