Where are text size controls?

I'm using AOL 8.0 broadband for my newsgroups, but the text I type and read is
quite small. I understand that this is controlled by Windows XP, probably in
Display | Appearances. But exactly where? I seem to be able to make text larger
everywhere except where I and others type.

Thanks,

Manny

The Advanced button in Appearance. Go to Items, then look at all of them in
the drop-down menu there. CAUTION: write down on a sheet of paper the item
name and its old settings in case this is NOT what you want so you can go
back and restore it to previous appearance.

Where it says, Font size, select 'Large Fonts' to increase the size.
