Hello,

I'm looking for the file that contains the STOP messages in Windows
XP.

An example of a Windows XP message is this:

Stop 0x0000000A irql_not_less_or_equal

As I'm spanish, I'd like to know if the Windows XP STOP messages are
always coded into english or if they translated into the local
language as XP is.
I'm interested in the file that contains these STOP messages, in order
to check if they are translated or not.

Anybody could help me?

Thank you very much.
Javier Sanchez.

Possibly contained in ntoskrnl.exe as a custom resource. The file contains
that particular message anyhow.

And no, STOP at boot messages are not translated. Later BSODs are...
(My XP is in finnish, boot messages come up in english. Later "System
stopped to protect data etc.. are in finnish)
