Hi
I've just installed Windows XP (from Windows 98) and now my programs, whilst
still on the computer, they aren't working ... when click start/programs,
none of them are listed? how can i make them appear in the correct place and
work correctly ?

Sure you did an Upgrade and not just installed Windows XP along-side Windows
98?
In other words, when you power on - do you have a choice of what OS to boot
into?

Hi there
wouldn't let me upgrade ... so did a full installation ... and no doesn't
give me a choice at start up???

Wouldn't do an upgrade? Interesting..

Well then - you aren't going to have any of your applications until you
install them.

Since you did not perform an in-place upgrade, then your install is not
aware of any of the applications (all the registry entries they make, DLL
files they put in place, etc.)
