Hi Kaylene, where you been?
Both my compaq dvd sd-612 and LG cdrw 8080b are listed with a yellow error
besides them in device manager. uninstalling and scanning for hardware
changes locates them but doesn't install them, reboot does the same

Tried the first two methods, dougs doesnt work and the registry fix doesn't
work either

Hi Headtheball, I'm still around, probably posting elsewhere. Have you tried to
find new drivers from the manufacturers - I'm out of ideas and suggestions
otherwise.
Perhaps someone in the Windows XP Hardware NG can shed some light on the
situation
