When Outlook 2003 Opens...Word Opens

Hi,

Every time I open Outlook 2003 on my XP Pro machine it also opens Microsoft
Word...and a tray icon says
"outlook is synchronizing folders". How do I stop Word from launching?

Don't set Word as your e-mail editor in Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Format
