With Outlook Express and Windows Mail, I could just exit the program and then
access my new mail via my Web Client, worked great during the day. And this
worked even if I had mail messages open. The behavior with Live Mail seems
different. It appears that even if I close the program, but have an email
open, email is still downloaded to my PC. I noticed this today as I had
closed Live Mail but had a message open. Suddenly I "heard" an email arrive,
a test mail I had sent via the web client, and sure enough when I checked the
web client it had disappeard from my server. Now I have closed the message
and mail appears to be staying on the server.
Is this correct behavior? If so, where can I find this documented?
Thanks,
