When is A4 not A4?

when it's A4 (210 x 297)

What's the diff? (why are "A4" and "A4 (210 x 297)", 2 different options?)

As far as i know, A4 measures 210 x 297
 
This might be a printer issue. (My copy of Word has just one A4.) There is a
"super-A4" size, which is A4 plus about 10mm all round, sintended for
printing page bleeds.
 
thanx for that - i think you're right - it's just 2 different printer
definitions of the same paper size

Just different programmers doing it slightly differently.
