When i turn on my computer i get "NTLDR is missing"

The computer is a sony VAIO notebook with windows xp2 home edition, also i
foun some info but i need to get the " Bcupdate2 utility" to fix it, where
can i get it and how to use it

The message probably reads "ntldr not found". It is often
caused by a floppy disk left in the disk drive by mistake.
