When I receive a reply it shows up on my desktop alert not in inbo

If i receive a reply back it will show up on my desktop but when I go into my
inbox the only thing in it is the original e-mail that I sent with no reply.

Most likely you have a view set that isn't showing you all your mail. Try
resetting the current view. Outlook Help should have some info if you're not
familiar with the Views settings.

For future reference though, you're more likely to get a response (or a more
detailed response) if you include as a minimum what Outlook version and
Windows version you're using.

My operating system is Windows XP Professional and I am using Microsoft
Outlook 2003. I have also discovered that when I send an e-mail the
recipient will receive an image001.jpg attachment. I have been using the
same operating system and outlook for over a year with none of these
problems.

Maybe someone else can help with the attached image file... but regarding the
mail not showing up in your Inbox, try resetting your view.

View > Arrange by > Custom > Reset Current View.
