When I print a document it flips the picture

Please please help. I am trying to print out a letter that has a signature in
it, this is in a format of .bmp. It looks fine on the screen but when I print
it onto paper it flips it over so it is upside down. I have even tried
flipping it upside down and seeing if it will flip over again but it doesn't
- very strange.

Can anyone shed any light on this?
