When copying text and pasting, text doesn't get pasted

Why is it when I try to copy text in a document, and then paste it to either
another area within the Word document or to a new document, it always pastes
an image of the document I'm in and not actually the text? Can someone help
explain and tell me how to fix? I am using MS Office Student and Teacher
Editon 2003. This also happens when using the copy and paste command within
Excel and Outlook.

I am also using Mircrosoft Office 2003: Teacher and Student Edition.

I also found that when trying to copy and paste some text or date in any of
the office programs that it decided to paste a Screenshot. Another of my
friends had a similar problem, (but not with Student and teacher edition).

There is two possible causes, the first is that your 'PrtScr SysRq' button
(near to home etc.) is stuck down. This would cause a constant screen
shotting effect to occurr. (If this was the problem your computer would be
running slightly slower than normal)

This was not the problem with my computer as it was a brand new keyboard. It
was a setting in Windows itself. Wha operating system are you running? (XP
etc.)

I will contact another friend who sorted mine out and ask him what the
solution is.

If you wish to respond to this message directly please contact me:

Thank-you.

DanielWalters6,

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it. It's definitely not the "prt sc"
/ "sys rq" button. My OS is Windows XP Home Edition.

Yeah, it's quite frustrating trying to do a simple copy and paste job and
instead keep getting screen shots pasted. Whatever fix you can find out from
your friend would be greatly appreciated.
