what to do?

hello my computer is 6 months old,and if i want to run the virus scan my
computer is freezes.i have 7 different kind of spy ware,ad ware,virus
scan,and no one is working.WHAT TO DO????? thanks
the norton freezes too.
 
If youve installed multiple AV apps on your sys they will conflict with each
other.
Uninstall the AV apps, as your using Norton see www.symantec.com help 'how
to completely remove' Then perform a clean install of Norton. - Im assuming
you have the disk -
If Norton came installed with your sys its likely the 'free period' will
have expired and the AV deffinitions will not be current, unless you 'signed
up'
Ensure your Firewall is activated, see help.
Try www.symantec.com and run the on line virus scan - this can take some
time -
For spyware/ad ware, download Adaware www.lavasoft.de the free version,
update before running.
 
Want to save yourself a lot odf problems in the future? DUMP NORTON!!
Download AVG Anti-Virus from www.grisoft.com run it and keep it up to date.
Stay away from Norton, and McCafee.
 
Best to stay away from all virus detect programs.
