When I boot up my compac notebook computer (operating on
Windows 2000) I get the following message: "Win Mgmt.exe
has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You
will need to restar the program Error log is being
created." then, when I get ready to shutdown, I get the
following: "Winnet.exe DLL Initialization Failed. The app.
failed to initialize because the windows station is
shutting down." I keep getting these messages. What to
do? Can Ayone Help Me? Thanks in advanced.

A quick web search on the two issues you've posted:

1st:
WinMgmt.exe error may indicate corruption in
%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem\Repository

Seemed to have information about winnet.exe. It appears to be a component
of adware that you have picked up on your system (either on purpose or
inadvertently).
