Please introduce some free software that is user friendly for hotmail. I
think Outlook occupies much memory.
Thanks in advance.

Kemco said:OOPS! My bad! Thanks for catching me Gordon, actually Thunderbird works
fine with free hotmail you just have to have freepops which I failed to
mention. Smith Just go to this website and download and install freepops
also you will need to download the hotmail update .lua file and save it in
c:\program files\freepops\lua\ after installing freepops. Then just
follow the tutorials at freepops and it will tell you everything you need
to know to set up hotmail.

Good Luck again,

I've been using Hotmail with Firefox with no problems for over a year.Yves said:Outlook Express allow complete Hotmail access, providing your Hotmail account
is allowed to have Windows access (WinDEV???) A couple of years ago, MS
turned off the Windows access to Hotmail free account, stating that Spammers
were using this. They were allowing "old" Hotmail accounts (like mine.)

gotmail gets good reviews. http://sourceforge.net/projects/gotmail
Trevor said:Two more to choose from are:
Thunderbird:
http://www.mozilla.com/thunderbird/
Evolution Mail:
http://sourceforge.net/search/?type_of_search=files&group_id=159440&words=evolution
(This one is opensource also but is full featured just like the full
blown version of Outlook. Including calendaring, contact management,
memos, tasks etc.
Good Luck,
Trev
But the OP will need a third-party add-in to read and send Hotmail!

third-party software?
