I'm looking for a router than I can easily do port forwarding with. What
brands would give me the least hassle when I want to forward ports?

Well, my Netgear DG834G does port forwarding, though I've never used it
so can't actually recommend it, but it's there. :)

Hey Matt
All I've read the past couple of years seems to say Linksys routers are the
most difficult or hardest to setup correctly. I have one, no physical
problems with networking, but it seems that the Dlink appears easier to use.

I bought linkysys because I was new at it, and they were having a sale at
the local computer store couple years ago.

Linksys is very easy to forward ports. Just go to the Forwarding Tab and
just type in the name of the application and then the ports you want to use
and then Ck. TCP or UDP and then the address of your computer...usually
192.168.1.1XX that you want to have the forwarding ability and then just
apply a ck. mark in the box. I alway thought that Linksys has a very good
manual and all the web help you could need. As they are now a division of
Cisco they should be good to go.
