WHAT PLAYER CAN PLAY .AVI FILES?!?!?!

MICROSOFT SEEMS TO BE THE BEST OF THE BEST, IT WOULD BE A
SHAME IF I HAVE TO GET SOME OTHER PLAYER TO PLAY A SIMPLE
FILE. COULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT?

Please don't use all caps, it's hard to read and considered both as shouting
and rude...

Let me guess, you're getting sound but no video? A quick 5 seconds spent
searching this group would get you the answer as that question is asked
100's of times a week. You probably need the DiVX codec available from
www.divx.com.

The AVI format is merely a container for many different methods of encoding
media content, and not all possible formats are Microsoft ones...
