What is wrong with my newly bought unit

I just bought a new unit of computer loaded, a few days ago. I had Philippine
Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT) install dsl. While familiarising the net,
various messeges popped up including certain errors to be reported. Then
suddenly, MNS Explorer icon refused to work despite lan still connected.

Doesn't sound like an Outlook problem to me. Contact your DSL provider's
support staff.
 
Depends what type of msgs;
If your winxp did'nt have security fixes, eg Firewall on by default, its
maybe a virus
It only takes a few mins for an unprotected Broadband connected PC to be
infected
