what is windows aero?

Hey people,
I have Widows Vista Premium and I was reading something and it was talking
about windows aero. What exactly is that??

Open up 2 or 3 different windows , then hold down the windows key onyour
keyboard ( the 1st key to the left of Alt) then tap or hold down the tab key
, that`s it nothing amazing in my opinion !
