What is this service for?

Under Services there is an item running called Navvdmsaiste and I have not
been able to find what this one is related to. Doing a search on Google
returned nothing. Anyone knows what is this all about and do I need it?

Nav = could be part of Norton Anti-Virus?? (N A V).

I thought so but could not find anything at the Symantec site.
