I bought a computer and it came with XP Pro. Every 5-10 seconds an icon pops
up in my taskbar for Smart Wizard. It then tells me it has removed an unknown
device, 2 seconds later it tells me it has removed my Surround Speakers (I
don't have speakers plugged into them). It disappears, then 5-10 seconds
later it DOES IT AGAIN!! And it keeps going. I cannot click on the icon and
get a program to pull up, it does not show up as an installed program, and
nothing in the Windows KB or the XP Help files even mention this wizard. How
do I either (1) remove it or (2) access it so that it only runs on computer
startup? I don't need it I've used windows for since 3.1 and can handle the
installation/removal of devices through the control panel.
