What is SCEMAN?

ZoneAlarm is frequently giving me warnings that SCEMAN is
trying to start a process. So far, without obvious bad effects,
I've been denying it permission to do so, but should I?
I haven't been able to find out what SCEMAN does. Any
pointers would be welcome. Thanks.

You're sure you typed "SCEMAN" correctly? I'm not getting any hits from
a Google search for that term which can point to malware. Be sure the
computer is clean:

If the computer is virus/malware-free, then you need to enable seeing
all hidden files and do a Search (Advanced - Search hidden files) to
find out where "SCEMAN" is located on your hard drive. That may give a
clue as to what program it is coming from.

Is this on a Sony Vaio and do you run Giga Pocket Software? If so the
application is likely smceman.exe and is part of Giga Pocket. I don't see
anything for SCEMAN?
