What is Microsoft Windows Journal Viewer

I sometimes get popup box wanting to install "Microsoft Windows Journal
Viewer". It is look for file "Installation Package(*.msi). This most
recently came about when Acrobat was loading in order to read a file. I put
the WindowsXP Pro disk in drive could not the file. What is this all about.
The only way I can stop the popup is to go into Task Manager and end the
task.
