It's written in the Defrag report that
- the file \WINDOWS\system32\drivers\fwdrv.err could not be defragmented,
- the size of this file is 3,21 Go,
- it has still 167 940 fragments (after defragmentation)!!

1) What is fwdrv.err?
2) Can I delete it without risk?

Thank you in advance for your advice(s).

Usually if something can't be defragmented, its because
the file is being used by something. The same thing that
blocks you from defragging the file will block you from
deleting it.

But if I had to guess then I'd say it was possibly related
to a Firewire device or maybe a Firewall. And it probably
is just a log that keeps your list of errors that it's
noticed.

So maybe go to your firewall and delete the log files it
has kept?

One way to see what it actually is being used by is using
a free tool from http://www.sysinternals.com/ called
Process Explorer. From their website...

Ever wondered which program has a particular file or
directory open? Now you can find out. Process Explorer
shows you information about which handles and DLLs
processes have opened or loaded.
