I need to have covered the content of the intermediate level in Excell by
Thurs 06th Nov 2008 but I don't know where to start. Does anyone know what I
should be covering?

Only the person who wrote the document using that phrase!
Sorry, but I cannot really tell you more.
Buy Excel for Dummies asap, read it from cover to cover, pray hard, and go
to the interview
Tell us the outcome - we are routing for you!
best wishes

Thank you Bernard,

However, I wonder if you could advise on any areas which would be considered
the next step up from beginner?

You're right I've a 3 hour job interview on Friday morning which includes
testing on Excel - they require Intermediate/Advanced skills and I'm panicing
- copy of excel for dummies should be with me on Tuesday!!
