When I try to copy and paste documents (that are formatted into word) into
an e-mail using outlook express, a message is displayed that says" Your
current security settings prohibit running active x controls on this page-as
a result the page may not display correctly."
What does that mean? Is it safe to change the security settings? And how do
I change them? Will changing the settings allow the document to display on
the e-mail the same as it was in the file in my document folder?
Thanks for any advice you can give this beginner.

Hi =?Utf-8?B?aW1hbGFtdWQ=?=,

Have you used the Control toolbox to insert "fields" on the document, by any
chance? In that case, you'd need to send this text in a document attachment.

Hi =?Utf-8?B?RGl4aWVXaW5z?=,
So what is the solutin to this obnoxious problem ?
Well, as far as Outlook Express's behavior goes, you'll
need to pose the question in a newsgroup for OE.

Whether ActiveX controls in a Word document will even
function in an HTML email is another question, altogether;
one to which I don't know the answer (I don't use OE).

Also, you haven't described to use the WHY of what you're
trying to do. But again, you should do this in an OE
newsgroup, as the folks there are more likely to know what
tools are available.
