ok...I try to start my computer (With nothing cd or floppy disk in the

" Non system disk or disk error, replace and strike any key when
ready" on a black windows.

That sounds like very bad news. Your hard drive may have died.

but when I insert a Disk or a floppy disk in the drive compare a
promp A:\> now I try to writing after A:\> that : c:
and tell me there is a SINTAX ERROR

Do you know what file system you had on the hard drive? If it was ntfs, as I
said, MSDOS won't able to see the drive, and such an error would be
expected. But if your drive is FAT32, the error tends to confirm that the
drive has died.

Try going to http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/NtfsDos.html and
downloading the free version of ntfsdos. Create an MSDOS boot diskette with
ntfsdos on it (follow the instructions at the web site) and boot from that.

Then at the a: prompt type c: If that doesn't result in an error message,
then try typing dir.

The above won't solve your problem, but it should tell you whether your
drive has died or is accessible.
