what happened to my security tab?

I am trying to set up my computer so that I can have multiple users use my computer (ie several accounts) but I want to be able to lock out a specific drive or printer etc. When it comes to the printer, the help files say that I am supposed to be able to open up the printer properties and click the security tab. But I don't have a security tab in there!
In terms of locking out a folder, I am supposed to be able to right-click the folder, click the shring tab and check the "make this folder private" box. But this option is greyed out (even though I have admin privileges on this computer).

Why can't I access these features? Did I do something wrong in the installation?

Thanks

Go to Control Panel > Folder Options > View and uncheck
"Use Simple File Sharing" and click "Apply".

How Do I Get the Security tab in Folder Properties?
