What happened to Hotmail?

Does anybody know why I clicked on my Hotmail to read a new message and it,
along with all of my saved messages, were deleted? I don't mind system
updates, but what if I had important information on there? Well, one thing
at a time. Why is EVERYTHING gone?

In which email program? Windows Mail, the program this newsgroup
was meant for, won't connect to Hotmail.

It's all good actually, I followed the instructions they left, and believe it
or not it works now. :-) Thanks for your time though!
