What drive options will XP clean install give me?

Lets say that I have a 50Mb FAT partition right at beginning of my HDD. And
the rest of the HDD is 75Mb NTSF partition.

Anyone know what options I will be given on clean installing? Will I be
prompted to install on D:?

Is there any way I can prior condition the HDD, so that upon clean install
the only option gven is C: and it's the 75Mb partion?

(Actually I think the answer just came to me. But not sure. If the larger
partition is set as active, then I will be promped to install here and XP
will see it as C:. But then again, I know little of these things). TIA.

Please let us know if that works. You're given 3 days to activate
it, so you can delete the new partition if it doesn't work.

If there is more than 1 available partition you will be given the
option to choose which partition you install XP onto.

However if you choose D: then Windows XP will put some startup system
files onto C:.

Good luck
