when I open microsoft outlook 97 it gives me a message
that reads: "the add-in scrptxtn.dill could not be
installed or loaded. Unable to load scrptxtn.dill, you
may be out of memory, out of system resourses or missing
a dill. file '
What does this mean and how can I fix it...... Also it
looks like it is affecting my microsoft activesync
because it is not connecting with outlook anymore.

Two things. First, you can go into Outlook's add-in manager and uncheck
that add-in or remove it so it does not load. This should allow Outlook
(and ActiveSync) to operate with no error messages. Next, you should find
out if, in fact, the DLL is missing and, if you want its functionality,
reinstall it.
