What does search result mean?

The Old Timer

I did a search for a file on this PC & the results that came back that it
was located at 'My Computer'. You can click on My Computer but you won't
find the file there. What does this mean? Is my file on the machine or not?

Hey oldtimer, your search result would have given you a full path as to
where that file is located, like C:\Documents and Settings\oldtimer\myfile.
 
That was my point. there is no path, so if the file is really on my machine
I can't find it.
