What does pst2gb.exe delete?

Does anyone know what the crop tool deletes? Does it delete the last e-mail
added or the oldest or random e-mail? If I upgrade to Outlook 2003, will it
open my 2gb+ Outlook 2000 .pst file?

The tool deletes the newest items.
If I upgrade to Outlook 2003, will it
open my 2gb+ Outlook 2000 .pst file?

In Outlook 2003 you can only open a pst-file over 2GB when the file is
in unicode-format (new format in OL 2003)
