What do you recommend

I am looking for some software that will help me diagnos a lock up issue on
a friends system....
Help, what would you recommend

Did you try Dr Watson - it comes with Windows.

Will DrWatson work to help find LOCKUP? This is a SYSTEM lockup and system
would not be able to write any logs...
