What difference between MS outlook and free e-mail a/c

any one can tells the difference between MS outlook and free e-mail a/c like
yahoo,hotmail. when should I necessary to use MS outlook instead of free
e-mail a/c?

If you mean Outlook, then you must know that it is a PIM and not an internet
mail service.

Outlook is a Personal Information Manager that contains a mail client that
can access some mail service providers. Yahoo!, Hotmail, etc. are mail
service providers. You must use a mail client like web mail, Outlook,
Outloko Express, Eudora, and others to access them.
 
A Personal Information Manager also allows you to go beyond e-mail and record
calendar entries, to-do lists, etc. When used with a server you can schedule
