A Word XP newbie question. When I open a new document blank page, there are
4 little angled (right angle) lines in each corner of the page. What are
they for, and how do I make them go away? Looking in "print view".

Thanks do much!

Merry Christmas,
Bill

These so-called "crop marks" appear when you enable support for an Asian
language. To get rid of them go to Start | Programs | Microsoft Office Tools
| Microsoft Office XP Language Settings and disable support for Asian
languages.

Thank you, suzanne! You are just so skilled at this stuff. I was hoping that
you would answer. I'm all fixed now.

Happy Holiday Season to you and your family!
